Here are a few shots from our Sunday (March 8th.) wedding. We were in Washington, DC with Lauren Myers and Andy Young. The first shot is taken at one of my favorite spots there - 17th Street at the Mall, with the Lincoln Memorial right behind them. I enjoyed driving the newlyweds around to a few scenic locations for portraits. 
As a news photographer, I would often drive about DC with a reporter in the back seat - now it's a bride & groom.

A standing ovation for the happy couple...ceremony at Journey Christian Church on Old Hundred Road and the reception followed at the nearby Brandermill Country Club.

Please click the above link to see a fresh example of a short video-photography montage - which combines wedding photography (images) with video (motion) and also some actual audio clips (sound), all from the same wedding. Add some nice background music and you have a cool way to share your wedding with others.
This trend is beginning to emerge among wedding photographers, who often refer to it as "fusion". I look forward to seeing more of this technique in the next few years. This was my first try at fusion.
BTW - Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown is where President John Kennedy attended Mass in the 1960s. In fact, he began attending there as a US Senator and Georgetown resident in the late 1950s.
