Erin and Michael were married at 9 AM on Bolling Air Force Base in Washington. The early ceremony allowed for an 11 AM cruise down the Potomac for the reception.
The advantage of two photographers - we each capture the reaction at the same moment, from two different locations. I was in the front of the church and Corbin Harris was in the back (first photo).

The dress was handmade by her mother Libby - with silk (from India), and taffeta. The taffeta was actually purchased by her mom back when Emily was 13 years old. Here is what happened.... they once attended an estate sale when Emily was 13, and her mother noticed that they had some wonderful taffeta for sale. She asked her daughter "What would I do with all this beautiful taffeta?" Emily responded, "You can use it one day to make my wedding dress".
