Yesterday (Saturday - July, 18, 2009) we were at The University of Richmond campus for a wedding at the chapel and a reception at the Jepson Center. There were plenty of bubbles at the send off.52x 2887.JPG

Taken without any flash during the ceremony - Asthon is wiping a tear from Joy's eye. At a moment like this, a photographic flash could be very distracting.

WPJA 16th place

The final results are in from the WPJA First Quarter (worldwide) contest and I earned a 16th place for this emotional shot taken at an April wedding (Andy & Allison). I caught this moment as Andy gave his new daughter a gift - just before the ceremony.
