We were certainly glad to help them out - we booked this wedding just 3 days before it was scheduled to take place. Nancy took this photo on Main Street in Poolesville - the town's Christmas lights are seen in the background.

The Bride (Sarah Arthur) was well prepared and provided matching boots for each bridesmaid.
The Reception was held at Wrexham Hall in Chesterfield - the perfect backdrop for a photo.

Special credit to Powhatan County VDOT for keeping the road to The Mill at Fine Creek in such good shape. The highway was kept open all day and we found it to be quite manageable - considering the amount of snow that had fallen.
The staff at The Mill at Fine Creek did their part to keep the entrance (above) open and the parking lot was well cleared. The Kabota tractor/snowblower was the right match for the deep snow.
The bride ( Esther May) arriving.
These shots of Esther and her family were taken before the 5 PM ceremony.
The groom - Ryan Horner.
The ceremony was held inside, and after the ceremony the same room would be used for a dinner / reception.

After a wonderful wedding ceremony at Life Church in Mechanicsville, we travelled over to South Richmond to Plant Zero for the reception. Amy and Clint opened the festivities with their first dance..

Sarah and Rob scheduled their wedding ceremony to be at 3:30 PM - since we decided that the best light for photography on November 14th., would be around 4:30 or 5 PM (near sunset). There had been mostly cloud cover the entire day - until just prior to sunset, when we were all surprised to see the sun pop out a bit - right on cue.

These group shots were taken immediately after the ceremony - which took place at Salisbury Presbyterian Church. We actually took the photos across the street at their reception site - Salisbury Country Club.

We were all worried that the amazing feeling from that night would not read through in the photographs. The warmth from the candlelight inside, the glow of the Christmas lights outside. The photographs I have seen so far are all amazing. Nancy did a great job!! Thank you so much for taking the booking for my brother so late...you were a God send!!
